Here’s a really simple tutorial on wire-wrapped earrings. In this jewelry DIY, I am using a simplistic wire-wrapping technique to create a frame around my gemstone. To make this pair of wire-wrapped stone earrings, you will need your round nose pliers, cutting pliers, two gemstones, a good amount of gold wire, and two earwires. Measure four equal lengths of the wire according to your gemstones. You will be using two pieces of wire for each gemstone. Make sure you have enough wire on each side to wrap it around the gemstone. After you have succeeded bending and wrapping the ends to the top, create a loop with your round nose pliers and wrap the excess wire under the loop. Don’t let any sharp bits stick out! Lastly, grab your earwires and hook them onto your wire-wrapped gemstone . . .  and, you are done! What did you do this weekend?
